Position: Hairstylist, Full-time (35~40 hours per week), Permanent Salary: Hourly wage is $14.00 Benefit: BC Medical 3 month after employment Work location: 103-485 Groves Ave, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 0C1 (at SOPA Square) Responsibilities: - Provide full salon services including cut, trim, curl, wave, Shampooing, blow dying, colouring, perm and styling customer's hair - Counseling and care for Bridal special hair - Ensure customers with scheduled appointments receive service in a timely manner - Help maintain adequate inventory of hair products and tools - Maintain Cleanliness of salon and your station - Examine customer's scalp type and provide treatment or advice on the treatment products - research and study new styles and skills Qualifications: - High School diploma or GED required - Completion of apprenticeship or college program in hairstyling with on the job training OR minimum of 2 years of hairstylist work experience if no formal hairstyling training or education - Excellent communication and customer service skills and able to communicate in English - Friendly and professional demeanor - Able and willing to work a flexible schedule
