Monty is a Presa Canario a breed that needs to go to a very dog experienced home. Unsure when he first meets you , with a calm approach and chunks of cheese he does warm up to people. Monty is a very strong boy who needs an equally strong person who has a soft heart and can appreciate his sensitive nature. Monty is not a good candidate for dog parks or populated recreational areas. Rather if you are a home body who wants a couch potato friend to wile away the time with, Monty may just be the ticket. A lot of exercise is not a priority for him. He is not a family dog as he has no experience with children or other pets. So if you are a singleton looking for a lifelong companion who will make you the center of the world come and meet Monty at the Shuswap SPCA, as he is too sensitive to transfer to another branch.
